I have set up this blog to post feelings and thoughts about Kristy, for whoever may want to participate. It helps to feel a part of a great body of people who miss her deeply. Kristy is a beautiful person, inside and out. She was a strong woman and I'm sure still continues to be. I'm grateful to have known her and benefit from her friendship so much, even now. She deserves all the happiness Heavenly Father can offer her.

I actually did that the other night while I was making dinner for my kids. My little 4 yr old was sitting on the counter chatting me up while my 7 yr old was drawing at the table and my 2 yr old was running around to everyone asking them "you be T-Rex?"
It was nice background music and actually brought a very peaceful feeling over the house.
It seems the one recurring theme running throughout this site, more so than anything else, related to Kristy is that of music.
Last night I was in the car with my son and one of his friends. His buddy had an iPod with him so I we decided to plug it into my car and listen to some of the music it contained, let's just say that we didn't listen to his iPod for very long. Anyhow, given that music has been on my mind lately given that I can't seem to escape this site, it led to a conversation about how music can influence an individual for good and bad.
The more I have thought about it the better I understand that as Kristy worshiped the Lord, publicly and privately, through the music she sang it helped to form the Christ like characteristic of Charity.
There is something to be said for the power of music, and once again Kristy was setting the example for all.
D&C 25:11–12 “For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads”
