A few years knowing her wasn't enough.
I lived with Kristy and David for a little while and knew them both for the last 4 years. Kristy kept the family going. She knew exactly what had to be done and she did it. If there was something that I thought was uncomfortable that needed to be done I'd ask her to do it (because I'm a wimp) and she would do it no problem at all, no fear, no hesitation, no looking back and no indecision. I admired her for that. She was the kind of person that would fight to the death for a friend. She helped me many times through my own difficult circumstances. She helped and listened to me at times when no one else would. She offered her opinion and listened to mine. I was glad of the few times when she asked me to help her, to spend Christmas and birthdays with her and to be a part of her family, she even made me chicken soup once when I was sick, not just opened a can but actual home made chicken soup. I will miss her. I wish her boys the best life they can possibly have. She didn't deserve what was sometimes dealt to her in this life but she will deserve what will be given to her in the next. I'd like to meet her there in the future and see if she's got that angles choir organized and in tune yet.
Adam.
