I worked with Kristy as paralegal at her attorney's law firm.
The following are just a few of my favorite memories of her.
How even though she was going through tough stuff she would always ask about my husband and I - not just politely. She really wanted to know how we were and what we were up to.
Her telling me I should wear bright blue every day because "it looks so good with your super-white skin."
Sitting with her youngest while she reviewed documents.
Seeing her play with her youngest in front of the mirrors in our office.
Her ending nearly every conversation I had with her about her case with "I don't want to fight. I don't want us to be bitter."
Talking with her about Real Estate courses and opportunities in the market.
Her not wanting to end a conversation until she knew everything that I knew about whatever legal topic we were discussing.
No matter how boring most clients tend to find what I do, it was important to her to understand every iota of what was happening, and she thanked me for my efforts on her behalf - something that puts her in the company of only a handful of others who have done the same in my three years at the firm.

This just brings tears to my eyes. She would be one that stands out in all the three years you had at your firm. So Kristy. Unforgettable.

Alicia,
When you wrote that she said, "it looks so good with your super-white skin." I about died laughing! She says the darndest things! Thank you so much for helping her and being her immediate friend.
